These terms apply when you order Mizuno clubs through Graeme Gorrie Golf. Please read them before you pay. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your quote shows the clubs, spec and total price, including VAT and insured UK delivery. Quotes are valid for 7 days. Prices are matched against major UK retailers where I can; see section 9.
Clubs are built by Mizuno to the specification on your quote (for example length, lie, loft, shaft and grip). Where your spec is based on your measurements, I’ll check it with you before ordering. Please tell me straight away if anything on your quote or invoice isn’t right, because once the order is placed with Mizuno it can’t be changed.
Payment is by bank transfer, in full, using the reference on your pro-forma invoice. Your order is accepted, and our contract formed, when I confirm by email that your payment has arrived. I then place your order with Mizuno and send your VAT invoice. If I can’t fulfil your order (for example, a model or spec is no longer available), I’ll tell you and refund you in full.
Build times depend on Mizuno’s schedule and your spec; I’ll confirm an estimate when your order is placed and keep you updated. Delivery is to UK addresses by insured courier, included in your price. Please check your clubs when they arrive and tell me within 48 hours if anything is damaged or doesn’t match your spec.
You can cancel for a full refund at any time before I place your order with Mizuno. Because your clubs are then made to your personal specification, the usual 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once your order has been placed with Mizuno.
If your clubs are faulty, damaged in transit, or not built to the spec on your invoice, I’ll arrange a repair, rebuild or replacement, or a refund where that isn’t possible, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Mizuno’s manufacturer warranty also applies to your clubs.
A spec based on measurements, or a remote recommendation, is a well-informed starting point but not a guarantee of performance. Changes you’d like after your clubs are delivered, where they were built correctly to the agreed spec, aren’t covered as a fault, but I’m happy to help with adjustments at a fair price.
I’m responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of my breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. I’m not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited.
If you find the same new Mizuno model and spec at a lower price from a major UK retailer before you pay, send me the link and I’ll match it where I can. Price matching doesn’t apply to used, ex-demo, clearance, bundle, voucher or trade-only prices.
These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a problem, please contact me first at graeme@graemegorrie.co.uk and I’ll do my best to put it right.
