Privacy policy

Last updated 20 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information I collect through graemegorriegolf.co.uk, why, and your rights. I’m the data controller for this information.

What I collect

• Quote and contact requests: your name, email, phone number (if given), delivery address, the clubs you’re interested in, your measurements and spec, and anything you write in your message.
• Orders: the above plus payment confirmation and invoice details. I never see or store your card or bank login details; you pay by bank transfer from your own bank.
• Chat assistant: the questions you type and the answers given, for the length of your visit.
• Website usage: if you accept cookies, anonymous information about how you use the site (pages viewed, device, approximate location) through Google Analytics and Google Ads.

Why I use it

• To prepare and send your quote, take your order, place it with Mizuno, deliver your clubs and provide after-sales support (to take steps towards and perform a contract with you).
• To keep financial and VAT records (legal obligation).
• To send occasional emails about Mizuno products or offers, only if you’ve agreed, and you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
• To understand how the site is used and measure advertising, only if you accept cookies (consent).
• To prevent spam and misuse of the site (legitimate interests).

Who I share it with

Only what’s needed, with trusted providers who act on my instructions:

• Mizuno, to build and deliver your order (your name, spec and delivery details).
• Delivery couriers, to deliver your clubs.
• Hostinger, who host this website and its database.
• Mailchimp (Intuit), to manage my customer email list.
• Anthropic, whose AI service checks quote requests for anything I need to review and powers the chat assistant.
• Google, for analytics and advertising measurement if you accept cookies.
• My accountant, for bookkeeping and tax.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK (for example in the USA). Where they do, they’re covered by UK adequacy arrangements or standard contractual safeguards. I never sell your information.

How long I keep it

Quote requests that don’t become orders are kept for up to 2 years, then deleted. Order and invoice records are kept for 6 years, as required for tax. Email list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

The site uses essential cookies to work properly. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how I use it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, or withdraw consent at any time. Just email graeme@graemegorrie.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
