A pure muscleback for consistent ball-strikers who want maximum feedback and control over flight and shape.
Classic blade
A compact, tour-inspired head with a thin top line and reduced offset.
Grain Flow Forged HD
Forged in Hiroshima, Japan, with a copper underlay for that soft, solid Mizuno feel.
Shot-shaping
Refined sole shaping and a muscle-back design for precise trajectory and workability.
Best for
Low handicaps with a repeatable strike. Want a little help in the long irons? Combine with S-3 or S-4 long irons.

Questions
Can I mix S-1 with another model?
Yes. A popular build is S-3 or S-4 long irons with S-1 from 8-iron or 9-iron down. Note it in the form and I’ll quote the combo.
Do I need a fitting first?
No. Most golfers can order a well-matched club from their measurements and what they play now. If you’d like a full fitting, you can book one with me in East Kilbride.
Are these genuine Mizuno clubs?
Yes. I order directly from Mizuno through my dealer account, and your club is built to your spec by Mizuno.
How long does it take?
Build times vary through the year, so I confirm the current timescale on your quote before you commit.
